            <abstract xml:lang="en">
              <p>LiNbO₃ or LiTaO₃ powders were prepared by the sol-gel method from lithium niobium alcoholates or tantalum. Ceramics of good compactness were sintered at temperatures of 1075 and 1150°C respectively. Various parameters were considered: structure, state of association and concentration of the precursor, water/alcoholate ratio, nature of the solvent. Their influence on compactness, ceramic microstructure and dielectric and ferroelectric properties was determined.</p>

              <p>Des poudres de LiNbO&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; ou de LiTaO&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; ont été préparées par la méthode sol-gel à partir d'alcoolates de lithium et de niobium ou de tantale. Des céramiques de bonne compacité ont été frittées à des températures de 1075 et 1150°C respectivement. Divers paramètres ont été considérés : structure, état d'association et concentration du précurseur, rapport eau/alcoolate, nature du solvant. Leur influence sur la compacité, la microstructure des céramiques et sur les propriétés diélectriques et ferroélectriques a été déterminée.</p>
