La Dynamique Moléculaire Classique au service de la spectroscopie des plasmas non-idéaux
Résumé
I have focussed this work on the use of classical molecular dynamics technique (MD- TCP) for plasma spectroscopy purposes. The aim, here, is to show how much this technique plays an important role in i) the development and the validation of line shapes models such as the FFM, and ii) the discussion on some specific properties of non-ideal plasmas. The MD-TCP simulation involves two major specificities. First, electrons and ions are simulated simultaneously using an ion-electron potential that depends on the ion charge state. Second, a collisional ionization/recombination process implemented in the code allows the evolution of the charge state population towards a stationary state depending on temperature, density and composition of the plasma. Thus, as the whole interactions between charges contribute to the motion of electrons and ions in the MD simulation box, collective behavior appears naturally and time- depend mechanisms can be then investigated.
