Rôle de la syllabe dans la perception de la parole : études attentionnelles

Abstract : We present a series of experiments showing that listeners automatically recover the syllabic structure or utterance during speech perception. Our results do not support the view that syllables are atoms of speech perception, but rather that syllabic structure acts as organizing framework for incoming speech.
